Howdy all

Its seems like it has not beent that long. But i think it has. Things have been going well. Kids are happy and active. They are full of new words and phrazes all the time.
Jis still in tech school. It is his last semester. He is also taking more classes at Washburn University. He did really great in his classes.
I have been working on selling extra stuff on e-bay, an bartering extra stuff. Since I no longer use shampoo I have alot to barter, not to mention the body wash that makes J itchy. Im hoping to barter for other items we can use. I can see the use of the barter system comming back as money gets tight for more people.
This week has been busy with taxes and everone having over lapping colds. One person starts getting better and the next starts feeling bad K is the last to get it and it liable to be a long night. Here are some new pictures for ya

Hippie anyone?

I believe I may be turning in to a hippie and taking the kids along for the ride. I have gone shampoo free for over 55 days now. I'm loving how my hair looks and behaves. I stopped using chemical laden deodorant and now use what is called a deodorant stone. A fancy name for a ball of salt. And believe it or not it works, no evil under arm smells. Next I'm looking in to taking Diatomaceous earth. We shall see how it all plays out.

Changes

So for those who don't know Hubby wants to go in to the Air Force or Army this time next year. So we are making changes to his diet and work out habits. Mostly because you have to be able to do a certen amount of pushups, sit ups and running in time. Se we are walking every morning for 2 miles. We continue to hold at 30 mins for this task. Plus the work out to ge4t him to that point. We hold our each other accountable weelky. this is my first weeks stats.

Walked 6 miles
Weigh 155 lbs
Waist 32 in
Hips 37 in
Left thigh 22.5 in
Right thigh 23.5 in
Left Bicep 13 in
Right bicep 13 in

My goal is to be able to match my husband in what he need to be able to do to get in to the armed forces. Run 1.5 miles in less than 11 min 45 sec, 42 push ups and 40 situps in a min. Lets see how this all plays out over the weeks

So there has been allot going on. We had Easter and putting the garden in the last month, and right now the twines are spouse to be napping. But instead they are playing with there musical toys. We got the twines so they are not afraid of Hubby's bike anymore. May be someday they can go for rides with daddy. Here is J with daddy
Here is K

And one of our birthday gifts. We got golf clubs too they are behind me on the ground. I took this picture as soon as i saw them both in the same place and sitting still. Note my camera dates are never right not even on these pictures.

Overall we have been doing quite well we picked up a second cheap car. I find it funny that it is a the same car I drove in high school but it gets 30 mpg and for Hubby going to and from school and to work in it. It happens to save us right now 2 bucks a day right now in gas and more if it goes up and it didn't cost us money to add to our vehicle insurance. In fact it takes 1 dollar off the bill a month thanks to the multi vehicle discount and in my opinion that ain't to shabby. At this time we have been looking at different counties that have tracts of land for sale. Jefferson county seems to be way better priced then Shawnee or Douglas county's, Hubby does not want to make payments on land but to get 20 or more acres like he wants we are going to have to. Are plan is to find 20 or more acres and have it paid off in less than 10 yrs. Quite ambitious but doable. We hope all are well that read this and have a good day
